Paramount+ dropped the official trailer for season 3 of “Lioness” on Thursday, with Oscar winners Zoe Saldana and Nicole Kidman returning to the spying drama from Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan.
The female-driven series features the Lioness team on its most personal mission to date on a global scale and is executive-produced by Saldana and Kidman.
The upcoming third season follows Joe’s (Saldana) mission on which she grapples with her work and family when secret operations, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals overlap, with Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Westfield’s (Kelly) guidance, she battles unseen enemies and personal conflict that has seeped into her entire life.
Oscar winner Morgan Freeman and Emmy nominee Michael Kelly co-star with Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Genesis Rodriguez, Austin Hbert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, Hannah Love Lanier, and Ian Bohen.
Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios produce with executive producers including Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Saldana, Kidman, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Wagner, David Lemanowicz, Geyer Kosinski, and Keith Cox.
Seasons 1 & 2 are available on Paramount+. Season 3 premieres Sunday, August 2nd.
