Comedian Jerry Seinfeld dismissed a political plea outside Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, following his attendance at Game 4 of the NBA Finals, a contest the New York Knicks won 107-106 against the San Antonio Spurs to extend their series advantage to 3-1.

A Kick streamer named FinesseFave requested Seinfeld chant “Free Palestine” as he walked out of the arena. The comedian stopped, chuckled, and stated, “It doesn’t exist,” then kept walking.

Video of the incident went viral across social media, with vastly opposing views. Fans praised Seinfeld for the comment, with many calling him a legend. Critics attacked the quip, citing both that it was offensive and due to his clear stance and historical vocal support of Israel.

“Reminder to everyone that this man is a f—— scumbag,” one person stated on social media. Another expressed disappointment with the Knicks’ front-row attendees: “This is the team people getting FOMO for btw. Front row just filled with Zionist and Blackrock scum.”

Others, however, supported Seinfeld, with one person typing: “Seinfeld is successful enough to be untouchable, so he doesn’t have to play the stupid ‘Free Palestine’ game other people in Hollywood think they have to, and I love that for him.”

Seinfeld, an avid Knicks fan and frequent attendee of their games, has experienced similar confrontations, each time refusing to take the bait.
