South Korean hip-hop label AOMG has announced its first girl crew, Keyveatz, and a pre-debut double single titled “Key Beats,” which is currently available on all major platforms.

Keyveatz consists of five members: NEWY, UM JIONE, KANG YESEUL, SON JUONE, and KIM YUNA. The new act represents another step forward for AOMG, a record company founded by Jay Park in 2013 that continues to dominate the South Korean K-hip-hop industry through joint ventures with Gray, Loco, and Simon Dominic, among others.

“We envision the future of the label as a safe haven for creative artistry, where authenticity is the key to creating great music,” commented AOMG’s CEO, Yoo Deok Gon.

Two songs were included in the release, both bearing the girl crew’s name. “Key Beats” combines the sounds of trap and Jersey club with a looping synth, and its lyrics were penned by UM JIONE. In the song, the girls mention Seoul, Tokyo, and Rodeo, signifying the international stages they aim to conquer in the future.

The second song, “Catch My Breath,” starts with the members’ breathing, building momentum with a heavy flow and an ever-repeating hook. Well-respected producers, such as Toni Rei (Nam Dohyun), have worked on the album.

As a celebration of the album’s release, the girl crew performed a pre-drop concert titled “RSVP: Keyveatz INIT” on April 29 at the Billboard Korea House in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event consisted of two parts: a fan meetup and listening session at 2 p.m., during which fans could see premieres of the music videos for the double title-track songs, followed by the release party at 7 p.m. Keyveatz delivered their debut live performance.

As part of AOMG’s brand revival strategy, “Make It New,” also known as AOMG 2.0, subculture and underground music are recognized as significant inspirations for the girl crew’s unique musical style.

Future promotional activities include Keyveatz’s appearances at KCON Japan 2026 in May and the Seoul Park Music Festival in June 2026, with the official debut expected soon after.
