Apple TV+ has revealed that the dystopian drama Silo is returning for its final fourth season on July 9, 2027, following the end of season three of the world-building drama.
The streamer has also released a trailer for the final season of the dystopian series. Created by Emmy Award-winning writer Graham Yost, the series stars Rebecca Ferguson, who is also an executive producer of the show.
Season three of Silo, based on the New York Times best-selling trilogy by Hugh Howey, gave viewers a look at the origin story set centuries back while continuing the story of a dystopian future. In this future, 10,000 people live underground, but the reason is unclear.
In the future, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her compulsory “cleaning” but returns with memory loss in the post-rebellion era of the silo, where they face a new challenge. In the past era known as “Before Times,” journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) uncover a conspiracy that drags them into a chain of events with disastrous consequences.
