Nearly 25 years after the original Meet the Parents introduced audiences to the Byrnes-Focker family dynamic, Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro are returning this November in Focker-In-Law, a new installment in the blockbuster comedy franchise, this time joined by pop superstar Ariana Grande.
The film reunites Stiller, an Emmy Award winner, with two-time Academy Award winner De Niro, alongside two-time Grammy winner and Oscar nominee Grande, marking the franchise’s fourth entry.
The project also features returning cast members Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, and Owen Wilson, joined by newcomers Skyler Gisondo, Beanie Feldstein, and Eduardo Franco.
John Hamburg, who co-wrote all three previous Meet the Parents films, wrote and directed Focker-In-Law. Hamburg is joined behind the camera by producers Oscar nominee Jane Rosenthal, De Niro, Stiller, Oscar winner John Lesher, and Jay Roach, who directed the original trilogy.
Rosenthal and De Niro produce under their Tribeca Productions banner, while Stiller and Lesher produce through Red Hour Films.
No release date beyond “this November” has been announced.
