According to authorities, a father from Oklahoma arrived at a nearby police department to report a discovery that he found “disturbing”.
According to Stillwater police, the man, who was described as “distraught,” reported that he had discovered pictures of his young daughter on his girlfriend’s phone during a meeting on August 22nd.
The father revealed that he had recently initiated a romantic connection with the woman after meeting her online.
According to a news release shared on Facebook by the Stillwater Police Department, the girlfriend, who was identified as Ashlee Cheatham and is 19 years old, subsequently moved in with him.
According to the release, the parent stated that while Cheatham was sleeping, he went through her phone and discovered “disturbing images and videos” involving his 3-year-old daughter.
According to the police, Ashlee Cheatham was later met by investigators at her home and subsequently arrested.
She was arrested and taken to jail for the following charges: sexual abuse of a child under 12, creating or distributing obscene material or child pornography, possessing marijuana, and violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
According to records, Cheatham was in custody at Payne County Jail as of Saturday morning. Additionally, a judge issued a protective order preventing her from contacting the alleged victim.
According to reports, Cheatham had applied for a paraprofessional job at Nicoma Park Elementary School and was in the process of being hired before her arrest. The district spokesperson stated to KOCO that they had mutually decided to end the hiring process.
Stillwater police have stated that they do not have any reason to believe that there are additional victims.
However, if anyone has any concerns or possesses information, it is requested that they reach out to local law enforcement.

No reason to believe anything more? How about the two autistic children she had contact with, and various children at her mother’s daycare? Probably no way to prove any of it though.
