According to sources, Ashleigh Murray is most likely to return for Riverdale season 5 following the cancellation of the show’s spin-off CW series Katy Keene. In addition, the series’ creative team plans to have The Pussycats return for Riverdale’s fifth season: “this time doing justice by their characters.”

Fans are mad because they had to watch Josie leave Riverdale, them continuously tease a Pussycats reunion, to then have her become a secondary character on a show about a character nobody knew, only to cancel the show after one season?
