Asian Vlogger’s Restaurant Rant Goes Viral: “Italians Deadass Hate Asian People”

The TikTok video that features an Asian woman criticizing the staff of restaurants in Italy for ignoring Asian customers has recently gained attention because of the accusations regarding the discrimination that occurs abroad.

The video depicts Jane walking around the streets of Italy at night among the historical buildings. All throughout the video, she keeps saying that “Italians deadass hate Asians bro” using laughing emojis.

According to Jane, her experience proves that she is ignored by the service staff in Italy repeatedly.

“Italians dead ass hate Asian people all the things that you hear on TikTok are so real service people look at you like you’re a f***ing dumba** like every single experience,” Jane said.

Then she talks about her experience eating out.

“I’m sitting down at a restaurant they like never come up to me and ask like do I want a drink how how is it going da da da but then like this white couple next to me like the same guy will go up to them like four different times,” Jane explains.

Also, the woman states that the discrimination was visible even when it came to the dishes.

“I look at the plate next to mine we got the same thing hers has like cinnamon on her dessert mine doesn’t they’re avoiding eye contact like I’m not even kidding like I sound like schizophrenic like I’m not making this s*** up I promise,” Jane says.

Then, she describes how she tried to attract the attention of the waiter several times in vain.

“I like look at them they look away I’m like just trying to order something else I look at them they look away and then they like walk away and they don’t come back and I have to like flag someone down like three people later,” Jane says.

Jane claims that the experience was common and yet admits that she has encountered nice people before.

“this is just one restaurant this s*** is happening at like so many of the different places like obviously there are nice people that you encounter every place but like the trend for sure is they do not like me,” Jane says.

She finishes off the video with a comment about tips.

“I wish tip and culture was a thing here just so I could not tip,” Jane says.
