A TikToker who says she was sexually assaulted by a woman she met online is urging women to speak out about sexual violence between women, in a series of videos that went viral on the platform.
The creator, identified in her videos only as Ella, is an English teacher who describes herself as a queer woman of color. She posted a video titled “I experienced SA in a lesbian dynamic,” then followed it with two more videos detailing what she said happened the first time she and the woman met in person.
“I was sexually assaulted by a woman that I met on the internet that I actually thought I was gonna be really good friends with, but the first time we hung out, she ended up assaulting me,” Ella said.
Ella identified the woman only by her first name, Michaela. Her account has not been independently verified, and she did not say in the videos whether she reported the encounter to police.
Ella said she first posted about the encounter a few days after it happened, sharing what she called “the receipts, the evidence, the text messages.” That video was removed after the woman reported it, she said.
“It got taken down because she reported the video, and TikTok f***ing took it down,” Ella said.
She said her main goal was not to shame the woman publicly.
“It’s not even for the main purpose of trying to publicly shame Michaela, who was the woman who assaulted me,” she said. “Even though you commit an aggressive act against somebody else, you should be held accountable, because as women, you are conditioned not to speak up because you’re conditioned to feel guilt and shame about violence that you experience.”
“It is more important than ever to be the one that speaks up, to advocate for yourself,” she said. “To tell your story gave me, like, the courage to try again to talk about what happened to me.”
Ella said sexual violence between women gets too little attention.
“Especially in lesbian relationships, we don’t talk enough about the power dynamics and the sexual violence that happens between two parties where they’re both women,” she said. “But it does happen, and it should be talked about.”
She said she wanted “my own peace of mind, knowing that I did everything I could to speak up about this,” and closed with a message for viewers: “To all the women that have gone through something like this, have the courage to speak up.”
@ogstargirl77 It made me feel so hopeless watching TikTok take down my video describing an incredibly real and traumatizing moment in my life and it felt like the person who perpetrated this crime successfully silenced me. But as long as I’m here, I’ll always speak up. #wlw #lesbian #sa #domestic #janedoe

A friendship that started online
In the first of two later videos, Ella said the woman contacted her on Instagram after seeing a TikTok post in which Ella said she was looking for more queer women of color to befriend.
“She was like, hey, like, I’m queer and a woman of color. Like, do you wanna hang out?” Ella said. “And I was like, oh, my god. Like, yes, absolutely.”
The woman invited Ella to the beach that Saturday with her and her friends. Ella said she first checked the woman’s profile “just to see, like, kind of what she looked like and what was the vibe.”
“And yeah, she was a real person. And actually, she was really, um, attractive,” Ella said. “To be honest, I was really attracted to her.”
Ella said she had told the woman early on that she was not looking to date, and the woman said that was fine. The two messaged every day that week. The woman also told Ella she was seeing someone, Ella said.
“She’s like, I felt like I should tell you this because … you’re gonna see me kissing her,” Ella said. “And I was like, OK, great. Like, that has, like, really nothing to do with me, but OK.”
“Even though she gave that disclaimer, I still felt like our texts were, like, a little flirty,” she said. “I’m not gonna say that there wasn’t any kind of, like, flirtatiousness on my end. … It was, like, plausible deniability, like, on both our ends.”
Both women are English teachers, Ella said. After a hard day in the classroom, she posted herself crying on her story, and the woman sent her “a really long, sweet, thoughtful message” that read, in part: “Keep your head up. Like, you’re doing great. I’m so sorry. Those kids were a**holes.”
“On the one hand, she was, like, a very considerate and thoughtful person,” Ella said. “It was just, like, really nice to receive that message from somebody who knows exactly what I’m going through.”
But she said the woman’s humor leaned on insults, including calling Ella a nerd from the start.
“I was like, oh, girl, you gotta be racially profiling me right now,” she said. “Normally, I might be a little offended, but … I don’t mind being insulted by attractive people. Like, I just don’t care. Like, you can tease me.”
The shot and the closet
Rain canceled the beach plans, Ella said, and the woman suggested they hang out at her stepmother’s apartment instead. Ella called it an “interesting choice of venue” and said she assumed the stepmother was out of town.
When Ella arrived, she said, the woman greeted her with a casual handshake, which Ella read as a sign the outing was platonic.
“So she’s, like, really making it clear, like, this is just, like, we’re friends,” Ella said. “And, like, I obviously respect that, because I was the one who told her that I am not dating.”
The stepmother turned out to be home. Ella said she was clearly older than everyone else there, who were in their 20s. The stepmother poured Ella a shot of a Siberian liquor that she said was about 40% alcohol, explaining that she liked to “find, like, the best, like, alcohol that you can’t find in the U.S.”
“You know what? Like, one shot won’t hurt, right? Wrong. Really f***ing wrong,” Ella said.
Ella said she is allergic to alcohol but can tolerate small amounts. “I’m looking in the cup and I’m like, d***, that’s a heavy pour,” she said.
She drank half and set the glass down, she said. The woman sat next to her and, in Ella’s words, “very much so dominates the conversation.” Ella said she finished the shot because she had nothing else to do.
“A couple minutes later, I genuinely feel like I’m about to pass out,” she said. “Like, I feel like I’m about to pass out because my heart’s, like, beating really fast, but I can also, like, barely breathe.”
Ella said that after she showed visible signs of an allergic reaction, the woman told her she had poured her extra liquor without saying so. “She was like, oh, s***,” Ella said.
By then, six people were in the apartment, including a longtime friend of the woman’s and that friend’s friend. Ella said she had turned “head to toe fully red,” and the group told her to lie down and drink water. They led her to a mattress inside a closet in the apartment.
Ella said the woman was “extremely controlling” and was “barking orders” at her. “She’s like, go sit down. Like, go drink this water,” Ella said.
She said the woman followed her into the closet.
“She actually, like, shoves me, like, onto the mattress. And then she climbs onto the mattress herself and literally gets on top of me,” Ella said. “I’m, like, already laying down at that point, and she, like, slides, like, right on top of me.”
Ella said she asked whether the woman felt she was cheating on the person she was seeing.
“She was like, oh, my god, I don’t really even know her. Like, we’re not even that close. Like, I just met her,” Ella said. When Ella asked how long they had known each other, she said, the woman answered, “definitely a couple months now.”
“I was like, OK. Like, so why are you touching me?” Ella said. She said the woman dodged her questions while she was still having the reaction.

Ella opened her second video with a request: “Please save your jokes about the fact that the two lesbians are in the closet together.”
She said that while she was “still heavily inebriated,” the woman got on top of her a second time, “face to face, crotch to crotch.” When the woman rolled off, Ella said, she shook her head, “like she’s chastising herself.”
“This girl was, like, insanely h***y,” Ella said. “There was just so much lust in her eyes and, like, her entire energy was just very sexual.”
Ella said the woman then grabbed her fingers and cracked her knuckles in a way that hurt. When Ella told her to stop, she said, the woman replied, “It’s not a big deal. I’m just cracking your knuckles,” and did it again.
“It’s one thing to, first of all, touch somebody like that without their consent,” Ella said. “It’s a second thing to, when they literally express the fact that that was super painful, you try to do it again.”
Ella said she asked the woman directly whether she had ever been abusive in a relationship. She said the woman became offended.
“She’s like, no, like, why would you ever ask that? Like, I’ve never hit a woman before, but I was in an abusive relationship,” Ella said. The woman told her that a former girlfriend had hit her and that she would never hit back, Ella said.
“I was just like, I’m sorry, but I don’t believe you,” Ella said. She said the woman responded, “Why do you always want to think the worst of me?”
Ella said the woman then spoke about her childhood, including her mother’s death when she was a teenager and a father she described as a cheater, which Ella called “very ironic.” Ella said she began sobbing.
Dinner and the dock
After she recovered, Ella said, all six walked to a rooftop bar and restaurant for dinner. The woman ordered a Long Island iced tea and offered her some, Ella said, and the others in the group objected.
“They’re like, bro, like, why are you still offering her alcohol? Like, she’s clearly allergic,” Ella said.
Ella said she turned to the woman and asked, half joking, “Are you trying to get me drunk or something?”
“She was like, why would you ever accuse me of that? I would never do anything like that,” Ella said. “And in my head I’m like, you did. You literally just did. Like, you gave me extra alcohol that I didn’t know I was consuming.”
Ella said the woman kept touching her through dinner, “just kind of, like, pawing at me or grabbing my fingers or, like, making me, like, play with her hair.”
When the meal ended, the rest of the group went back to the apartment, and the woman offered to take photos of Ella by the dock. “I’m never gonna say no to that,” Ella said. “Like, I love when people take pictures of me.”
“If I thought she was touchy when we were in, like, a big group, Jesus Christ, she got, like, insanely, insanely more touchy when it was just the two of us,” she said.
Ellea said that when she hugged the woman to thank her, the woman pressed her face into Ella’s chest. She said the woman sniffed both sides of her neck and, at one point, grabbed her breasts.
“I literally felt like she was just, like, grabbing at me,” Ella said.
She said the woman also yelled and cursed at her while taking the photos.
“She would be like, go, like, just shut the f*** up, go stand over there, like, I’m trying to take the g**damn picture,” Ella said. “At that point, I’m like, I feel super, like, degraded and, like, dehumanized and objectified.”
The group had planned to go to a lesbian bar next, but Ella said she told the woman she was going home instead. The woman was holding Ella’s umbrella, she said.
“She’s like, if you try to f***ing leave, I’m gonna throw your f***ing umbrella in the water,” Ella said.
Ella said that when she tried to leave, the woman shoved her, and she shoved back.
“I’m like, stop, like, please stop,” she said. “I told you you crossed, like, so many of my boundaries and I don’t feel comfortable around you, so I’m leaving.”
Ella said the woman kept yelling, grabbed her, tried to drag her back and tried to push her into a wall as other people began walking toward the dock. She said the woman followed her for about 10 minutes as she headed for a train station, saying, “I don’t even know what I did. Why are you being so f***ing stubborn?”
Ella posted clips she said she recorded during that walk. In them, she can be heard telling the woman, “I told you not to touch me,” “Stop following me” and “Michaela, stop.”
Ella said she ducked into a dark alley to hide. In a clip she said she filmed there, she described the woman as having become “super scary.”
“She kept putting her hands on me and was genuinely abusive and terrifying, and she was violent and angry,” Ella said in the clip. “I’ve just been sitting here for, like, the past 10 minutes because I’m so f***ing scared that she’s gonna keep following me.”
She said she called her best friend, who told her, “Just please just get out of there, like, as soon as you can.” Ella said she stayed on the phone with her friend while hurrying to the train station.
The group chat
Once home, Ella said, she messaged a group chat that included the woman and her friends to explain what had happened and why she left.
“If your friend is gonna be that f***ing weird and awful to somebody, like, you deserve to know,” she said. She added that she had “vibed with the rest of them too.”
Ella said the woman had told the friends that Ella left because she was upset the woman did not take good photos of her.
“What really p***ed me off, she literally went back to her friends after I, like, finally escaped her clutches,” Ella said. “No, b****, that’s not what f***ing happened.”
Ella said she blocked the woman after sending the message, and the two have not been in contact since. She said the woman later saw her first TikTok video about the encounter and reported it, and the platform took it down.
She ended her second video by addressing the woman directly.
“Michaela, if you’re watching this, I genuinely thought we would have been good friends,” Ella said. “But thank you for proving that you’re a complete f***ing weirdo.”
“Please stay safe,” she told viewers.
