On Friday, Aya Tanjali shared statements regarding a video circulating online featuring box champion Adrien Broner slapping her butt. The socialite explained that, despite the initial uneasiness she had experienced, she does not intend to pursue any legal action against him.

“I want to address the video and rumors that have been going around from last night involving me and Adrien Broner,” she posted in a note on Instagram Story.

Tanjali went further, explaining that the posts published by “KickChamp” on Twitter claiming that she would sue or prosecute Broner for sexual harassment were “completely false,” and she is not taking any legal measures whatsoever.

“In the moment, I honestly did feel uncomfortable and thought he may have been trying to touch me inappropriately,” she continued. “But after watching the video back myself, I personally feel like he may have just been trying to get my attention and didn’t mean any harm by it.”

Not completely clearing Adrien Broner, Tanjali wrote: “I still feel like no man should be putting their hands on a woman in a way that can make her uncomfortable, intentional or not.”

Also, the socialite pointed out that Adrien had looked in her direction before contacting her, which led many people to interpret the situation differently.

“I did notice him looking before tapping me, so I understand why people may view the clip differently from both sides,” she added.

Lastly, she urged the public not to share misinformation about the incident. “People to stop spreading false information and turning this into something bigger than what it is,” Tanjali concluded.

The socialite thanked all those who supported her, “Thank you to everyone who checked on me and showed love.”
