Pennsylvania police arrested a suspect in the murders of four Idaho college students last month.
The four University of Idaho students identified as 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and 20-year-old Ethan Chapin were found dead in their Moscow, Idaho rental home near campus.
Arrest paperwork filed by Pennsylvania State Police in Monroe County Court said 28-year-old, Bryan Christopher Kohberger, was being held for extradition in a criminal homicide investigation based on an active arrest warrant for first-degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and Latah County Prosecutor’s Office.
Kohberger is a graduate student in the department of criminal justice at WSU, Pullman, which is only 10 minutes away from Moscow, Idaho.
The Moscow Police Department is set to hold a press conference in the City Council chambers at 4 PM to give the public an update on the ongoing investigation.
