Bryant High School Teacher Heather Hare Arrested and Charged For Sexually Assaulting A Student

After being accused of having a sexual relationship with a student, a Bryant high school teacher is in police custody.

The Bryant Public Schools District was informed of the allegation in March and fired 32-year-old Heather Hare from her teaching position. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant after the allegations.

Hare turned herself into the Saline County Detention Center on Friday morning, according to Bryant police. She’s being held without bond and got charged with first-degree sexual assault, which is a felony.
