Last night the Los Angeles Lakers lost an overtime thriller to the San Antonio Spurs in LA. The Lakers are 0-3 this year, the three teams they lost to are western conference contenders. The last two times a LeBron James team started 0-3 in a season were the 2003 and 2004 Cleveland Cavaliers. The only years LeBron did not make the playoffs in his career.

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Phoenix Suns tomorrow which means they should get their first win of the season. Rajun Rondo and Brandon Ingram won’t be playing because of their suspensions. The Lakers offense looked better without the two in yesterday game. The Lakers played with a good flow and fast pace. Their defense has been horrific this year. They have given up over 395 points in their 3 games this year. If they don’t get better on the defensive end they will not make the playoffs.

Los Angeles Lakers will be one of those teams fighting for the 5th through 8th spot in the Western conference this year.
