A video of a woman being racist toward a Latino man in a restaurant is circulating on social media.

The incident has led people to try to identify the woman in the video. Some social media users concluded that the woman was Candy Bogar, which is simply not true.
Candy Bogar, whose real name is Karen Stampone Bogar, is a financial expert in her community of Jenkintown, PA. She provides account, financial, and tax services to small businesses as well as individuals looking for guidance and assistance.
Bogar isn’t the woman in the video, according to Tyler Stampone. He took to Facebook to address the identification of his mother.
Tyler Stampone said: “THE VIDEO ON TIK TOK AND CIRCULATING ELSEWHERE FALSELY IDENTIFIES MY MOTHER AS THE VILE SPEAKER. IT IS NOT HER.
THIS IS FALSE INFORMATION – THE WOMAN IN THE VIDEO IS CLEARLY NOT CANDY BOGAR, A/K/A, KAREN STAMPONE. MY MOTHER STANDS AGAINST RACISM OF ALL KINDS, FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT KNOW HER OR ANY OF HER CHILDREN, THIS IS EASY TO DISMISS AS SHE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN THIS VILE WOMAN IN THE VIDEO. MY MOTHER LITERALLY CHANGED HER NAME FROM ‘KAREN’ BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE THIS. SHE. CHANGED. HER. NAME. LEGALLY.
IF YOU SEE IT BEING SHARED, PLEASE STOP THE MYTH, REPORT IT, COMMENT, ETC. SHE AND WE ARE RECEIVING THREATS. STATE AND FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT HAVE BEEN CONTACTED. MY CHILDREN AND NEPHEW ARE NOW TARGETS OF A VIRAL MOB.
WHILE I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THE POSTER OF THE VIDEO, AN UPDATE VIDEO HAS BEEN PROVIDED IDENTIFYING SOMEONE ELSE, BUT THE ORIGINAL VIDEO IDENTIFYING CANDY BOGAR AS THE BAD ACTOR REMAINS ACTIVE. COMMENTS APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN DISABLED, HOWEVER. PLEASE HELP.”
Tyler even releases a video for people to stop spreading false information.

The racist woman has yet to be identified but we encourage people to stop spreading Candy Bogar’s name when it comes to this individual in the video.
