It’s always a great day when you get to sit down with one of your favorite characters from a hit Netflix show, and Chelsea Clark did not disappoint! The talented actress, best known for her role as Norah in Ginny & Georgia, caught up with Where Is The Buzz to spill all the behind-the-scenes tea, talk about fan reactions, and share her hopes for Norah in Season 3.

“I’m doing good, I’m doing good!” Chelsea beamed when I asked how she was feeling. “Thank you so much for meeting with me. I’m really excited to talk about the new season.”

Sis Said, “You’re Trending,” and She Was Right

Just like fans across the globe, Chelsea didn’t quite realize the show’s viral power until her younger sister sat her down for a reality check.

“My sister was the one who kept telling me, ‘This series is going to be a huge hit,’” she laughed. “She kept calling me like, ‘Do you understand what’s happening online?’ She literally sat me down and made me watch 20 TikToks because I had no idea!”

According to Chelsea, her sister has been the ultimate hype woman since Season 1. “She called me at 3 a.m. after watching the new season and was like, ‘Norah? Question mark?’ I was like, ‘Please finish the season first!’” Chelsea chuckled.

Glitter, Growth, and the New Norah

Season 3 brings a noticeable shift in Norah’s character, especially in how she expresses herself visually.

“I really feel like my makeup artist, Jen, helped me access a new side of Norah,” Chelsea shared. “She’d show up with mood boards, lookbooks, and would say, ‘Let’s really tell Norah’s story through her makeup this season.’ There’s so much more color, sparkle, and personality.”

And it’s not just makeup. Chelsea believes that small details like styling and presence speak volumes. “You don’t always need lines to be noticed. Sometimes you just need to be in the room. Norah’s presence is loud even when she’s quiet.”

Friendship Goals, High School Feels

The friendships in Ginny & Georgia are as beloved as the drama itself, and Chelsea says that’s no accident.

“People message me saying how much they love MANG [Max, Abby, Norah, and Ginny]. It’s so important to us to show that high school friendships don’t have to be catty. You can disagree with love. You can be annoyed and still care deeply.”

Her advice for fans navigating their own teen years? “Lead with love. I know it’s corny, but it’s true. And grace. Everyone’s figuring it out.”

Norah 2.0: Finding Her Fire

When asked where she sees Norah going in future seasons, Chelsea lights up.

“My biggest dream for her is that she grows a backbone. She’s so supportive of everyone else, but I want her to step into her own power,” she said. “I’d love to see her continue in the arts. Maybe leadership. But most of all, I want to see her stand on her own.”

Heavy Topics, Honest Moments

This season doesn’t shy away from deeper issues, including divorce and eating disorders. Chelsea reflected on a particularly emotional scene with Abby.

“We really wanted to do it justice. It was important to show how teenagers actually talk about these things. It’s not always perfect, but it’s real.”

Farm Girl Era (Sort Of)

When she’s not filming, Chelsea is a self-proclaimed animal lover, though that happened almost by accident.

“I went to a farm to buy corn and came back with a dog,” she joked. “I didn’t grow up with pets, but now I’m that person. I want to be Millie Bobby Brown and live on a sanctuary with goats and chickens!”

Although she doesn’t usually bring her pets to set, Chelsea loves when others do. “They just pop out of the trailer and it brightens everyone’s day.”

TikTok Fame and Sisterly Management

As Ginny & Georgia continues to dominate the Netflix charts, Chelsea still finds it surreal.

“Sometimes it’s just the show trending. But when it’s the four of us? I’m like, ‘Who’s that? Oh wait. That’s me.’”

Her sister, of course, keeps her grounded. “She’ll literally tell me, ‘Sit down. We’re doing a Q&A with your fans today.’ I don’t post anything without her approval first. She’s my PR manager, whether I like it or not.”

Chelsea Clark is proof that talent, heart, and a little sparkle go a long way. We can’t wait to see what’s next for Norah and the gang.
