Emerging R&B-pop star Chxrry premiered the single, “Bottles & Lights,” in collaboration with Mariah The Scientist. The song is available now via XO Records/Republic Records.
In preparation for Chxrry’s upcoming debut album, U, Me, and My Ego, here is one of its singles.
“Bottles & Lights” has a nighttime vibe with each artist taking turns singing about self-respect and emotional honesty. While Chxrry sings with conviction and clarity, Mariah The Scientist sings vulnerably about her life and experiences. In a visualizer, Chxrry is seen enjoying a night out, riding in a limo through the city, before she and Mariah The Scientist share an electrifying evening.
“Bottles & Lights” follows after the single, “Hall Of Fame,” which was featured by The FADER, CLASH, and 032c. This year, Chxrry opened for Mariah The Scientist on her European tour.
Chxrry first emerged in 2025 with the release of her singles, “Groupie” and “Main Character.” “Main Character” was featured on Billboard and ESSENCE and was included in posts by Chloe Bailey and Angel Reese, among others. In addition to opening up for Mariah The Scientist on her European tour, she also performed with FLO during their Access All Areas Tour. She worked with The Weeknd and others on “Reflections Laughing” from Hurry Up Tomorrow.
