Coi Leray has announced that she is single and does not plan to date anytime soon.
The rapper announced via a tweet on her X account, attributing the decision to heartbreak and the world’s cruelty.
“Single and not looking for anything. This world is just too cold ❤️🩹,” Leray tweeted.
Her tweet did not single out any individual. It comes several months after Leray went public with her romance with podcaster and influencer Justin Laboy, host of “#Respectfully: The Justin Laboy Show.”
Talk of their romance began in September 2025 after Laboy posted a picture of them on his Instagram Story and wrote, “My Coi.” Leray also appeared on his podcast that month as a guest, hinting she was in a relationship.
In January, Laboy refuted the breakup talk by posting a picture of the couple kissing and saying, “She is my life.” In February, the duo recorded a Valentine’s Day episode of his podcast, arguing over whether liking a third-party girl’s social media post can be considered cheating.
Speculation of a breakup surfaced in March, but a video circulating online showed the couple showing affection to each other in what appeared to be the VIP area. Leray revealed on a podcast hosted by Keke Palmer, “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer,” in April that she never thought about getting into a new relationship so soon after breaking up with rapper Trippie Redd.
Leray, 29, has a daughter, Miyoko, with rapper Trippie Redd. Miyoko was born on June 14, 2025, combining the first letter of Trippie Redd’s legal first name, Michael, with that of Leray’s.
The two artists got together back in 2019, separated, and rekindled their romance in August 2024. Leray got pregnant and revealed the news in a tweet on January 1, 2025. She later accused Trippie Redd of cheating on her while pregnant.
Leray later admitted she shouldn’t have gone public with those accusations against Trippie Redd on his show. Trippie Redd has since hinted at a custody battle going on and stated that Leray keeps him away from his child.
Leray has had several romantic relationships that have always been publicized. One of her relationships was with rapper Blueface, whom she dated briefly in 2020 and 2021. Blueface predicted the romance would be short-lived, saying, “I’ll give it about 90 days.”
Leray is Benzino’s daughter. She became known in 2021 when she released the album No More Parties and featured in Players, which climbed into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. She has released music regularly through 2026, including Better Than Yours with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Outside with Eladio Carrión. Her latest single, Nothing Into Something, was released on September 18.
