Al Nassr has signed 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo on a free transfer. The Portuguese international has signed a two-year deal with the Saudi club worth around €200M a year, including bonuses and commercial deals.

Al-Nassr made a statement about signing one of the greatest players of all time:

“This is more than history in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation, and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome, Cristiano to your new home.”

Ronaldo was a free agent since parting ways with Manchester United before the World Cup. He also got benched in the World Cup when Portugal suffered a 1-0 loss to Morroco, which possibly was the last World Cup appearance of his career. Ronaldo has the most goals in football history. He looks to extend his record with Al Nassr.
