Saudi Arabia will bend their marriage laws to allow Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez to live with each other due to Ronaldo’s status as one of the most marketable athletes in the world.
The 37-year-old Portuguese star joined Al-Nassr last month after his exit from Manchester United and will reportedly earn £175m a year.
He got unveiled to fans on Tuesday, January 3, in front of 25,000 supporters at Mrsool Park in Riyadh, to a backdrop of fireworks, flares, and strobe lighting. Ronaldo’s family was also on the pitch at his unveiling.
Ronaldo has to serve a two-game suspension. His official debuts for Al Nassr will take place on January 22nd against Ettifaq FC.
The suspension was a result of Cristiano Ronaldo smashing an Everton fan phone in the game against Everton in April 2022.
