Crunchyroll Adds Chainsaw Man, SPY x FAMILY, and More to Ad-Supported Catalog

Crunchyroll, the global leader in delivering the ultimate anime experience to fans in over 200 countries and territories, today announced that beginning August 1, the streaming platform will add an all-new batch of fan-favorite series to its available AVOD catalog, including Chainsaw Man, SPY x FAMILY, VINLAND SAGA, BLUELOCK, Lycoris Recoil, My Dress-Up Darling, and others.

“It’s part of our service to fans when we can make popular titles more accessible,” said Crunchyroll’s Chief Content Officer, Asa Suehira. “These titles will be part of the 1,000 hours of Crunchyroll’s library available free for fans as a way of sampling the world of anime, building new audiences, and growing the already passionate community.”

Those who have created a free Crunchyroll account will be able to watch all AVOD title offerings for free with ads. Cowboy Bebop, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Horimiya, One Piece, Kaguya-sama: Love is War, My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, and many more are already available in Crunchyroll’s AVOD library.

Crunchyroll’s English-speaking territories include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Titles in other countries may differ.

Crunchyroll is currently host to a catalog of over 46,000 episodes of anime series and feature films, available on 15+ different platforms, and in 10 languages subbed and/or dubbed. Beyond Crunchyroll’s AVOD selection, tiered paid subscriptions for ad-free viewing and other awesome perks are available starting at the Fan level for $7.99/month, Mega Fan for $9.99/month, and Ultimate Fan for $14.99/month.
