Cynthia Jade Spends $100K to Soundproof Her “Spicy” Studio So Her Parents Don’t Hear a Thing

Welcome to Colorado, with mountains that are peaceful, the air that is precious, and where Cynthia Jade is stacking her Benjamins. The OF creator is converting 1,400 of her 7,000 square feet home into a specialized ‘spicy content’ studio that is soundproofed to prevent her elderly parents from overhearing anything…  unusual.

Yes, you read that right.

Cynthia is pretty much providing for her family, while still being able to maintain her privacy to pursue passions with the power of an acoustic drywall.

Let’s jump right into this everyone.

Big Money, Bigger Privacy

Sources state that Cynthia Jade is pouring $100,000 into home renovations with the intent of keeping her two worlds, her family and her work, discreetly separated by the laws of physics.

She also changed everything just three weeks ago, moving her entire family, including her parents, all under one roof, with the determination to ensure the noise only moves from the kitchen to her child’s room, but not from the studio to her grandma’s  hearing.

“I love what I do, but if I’m going to keep creating, I need to make sure my parents aren’t hearing everything that’s going on in there,” Cynthia said.

Honestly? Totally reasonable.

Of course, as a mom, she also cares about protecting her child from the world of her work, extending her budget to good construction rather than relying on cartoons to drown her out.

A High-End Studio…  With A High-End “Swing

The new studio will be 1,400 square feet, or the average NYC apartment, with the capabilities of being a completely isolated environment for the production of content. Oh, yes…  part of the design overhaul will include the installation of the “specialty swing,” the type that HGTV has never, ever featured on its home renovation programming.

A kitchen renovation is the last thing you’ll need with gravity-friendly hardware and audio-optimized wall construction available!

The Creator Economy is Growing Up

Cynthia is representative of the newer, highly paid content creators who think of the platform as a business, with private-by-design architecture, production quality, etc.

In the old days, influencers would be content with ring lighting and the spare room, but nowadays, the best creators hire architects, acoustic experts, and genuine sound gurus to ensure their content is cutting-edge and their elders are left unbothered.

Reinvesting in production is also shrewd, allowing the creators to enhance the quality, gain subscribers, or care for their families. In Cynthia’s instance, this translates to ensuring that her… responses…  do not spill into the dining room.

Under the Hood: The Tech That Keeps The House Quiet

It’s more than a paint job and “Do Not Enter” sign, of course. Cynthia’s renovation is, well, a construction geek’s dream project, really.

To provide sound isolation, the renovation work will cover:

• Acoustic drywall (QuietRock

• Resilient channels to decouple walls & ceilings

• Mass loaded vinyl barriers for the reduction of low frequencies

• Acoustic insulation between studs

• Double doors with seals and sound-treated windows

• Floating floors with sound damping material

•Acoustic  Foam Panels & Bass Traps for Clear Audio

A glitter cannon could be packed inside, and the people in the living room won’t even notice. The build creates the effect of “room within a room,” floating inside the structure, meaning that sound cannot be transferred in or out. It could be the most family-friendly “spicy studio” in North America.
