Dede Lovelace and Ajani Russell Reunite With Crystal Moselle For New HBO Series ‘Betty’

Betty, the Skate Kitchen-inspired TV series at HBO, gets an official trailer that dives into skater girl culture in New York City.

A diverse group of young women navigate their lives through the male-dominated world of skateboarding in New York City.

The series stars Dede Lovelace, Moonbear, Nina Moran, Ajani Russell, and Rachelle Vinberg, from Crystal Moselle’s original film Skate Kitchen.

Crystal Moselle who directed Skate Kitchen, is the creator of HBO new skate show Betty. She casted majority of the Skate Kitchen cast for the new series.

The show will have six episodes and it will be half hour episodes.
