Did Shaun King Delete His Twitter Account Over Elon Musk Buying The Company?

Shaun King has reportedly deleted his Twitter account after it was announced yesterday that Elon Musk has bought Twitter.

Musk has purchased Twitter for $44 billion – a deal that gives the world’s richest man control of the social media giant used by millions globally.

This comes after Musk bought a 9.2% stake in the company. He has suggested making “significant” changes to the platform. Musk says the platform is not living up to its potential for “free speech.” The SpaceX founder has often silenced his critics and bullied journalists online. He has proposed limiting content restrictions rules that ban accounts and removing spam accounts.

Before King deleted his Twitter account he spoke about Elon Musk acquiring the platform.
