An avid Eagles fan in the stands at Soldier Field caused a stir on social media late Monday night when her beloved team struggled against the Chicago Bears.
“@kristinmarielii” posted a photo of herself in green leggings and a gray sweatshirt from the stands, posing for the camera while the Eagles played the Bears in a Monday Night Football game. The caption read, “GO BIRDS!!!!”
This picture was quite the opposite of what the game was going through.
The Eagles lost 27–7 because of poor play. The Eagles had three turnovers, 10 penalties, and failed to put together any offensive play, instead relying on the Bears’ third quarterback, Case Keenum.
However, her post sparked an uproar online, with reactions from fans on both sides of the rivalry.
