Exclusive Look: Into the Making of ‘Burn the House Down’

Within a week of its global release on July 13, revenge drama Burn the House Down set the world on fire, rocketing to No. 4 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV list with 2.6 million view hours. It was also ranked as one of the top ten television shows in 25 countries.

With the release of new behind-the-scenes photos highlighting the talent and dedication of the cast and crew, fans can now get an inside look into the series production.

The film Burn the House Down, starring Mei Nagano and Kyoka Suzuki, follows one woman’s search for the truth about what happened during a tragic fire 13 years ago. Anzu, played by Nagano, is posing as a housekeeper to gather evidence of wrongdoing by her stepmother, played by Suzuki. Each episode is filled with thrilling twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

The success of Japan’s live-action shows on Netflix’s Top 10 charts continues with titles like Sanctuary, First Love, and Alice in Borderland, the most-watched Japanese show ever on Netflix.
