Federal Court Charges Two Members of the Proud Boys in Connection of the DOMESTIC TERRORIST ATTACK on the U.S. Capitol Building

A federal court in Washington, DC, indicted two Proud Boys members on Friday in connection to the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. Dominic Pezzola, 43, and William Pepe, 31, were indicted on charges including “conspiracy, civil disorder, unlawfully entering restricted buildings… and disruptive conduct in restricted buildings or grounds,” according to a statement by the US Attorney’s Office for DC. Pezzola faces additional charges, including stealing a Capitol officer’s riot shield and using it to smash a Capitol building window.
