A federal grand jury indicted a Florida-based content creator for dodging taxes, and now the US Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe wants him to face the music. Kylie Leia Perez, who performs as “Natalie Monroe” on OnlyFans, is in hot water over her finances associated with her OnlyFans stage name.
Perez now faces charges for not paying more than $1.6 million in federal income taxes between 2019 and 2023. She’s facing one count of filing a false tax return and four counts of failing to pay her taxes during those years. If the court finds her guilty, she could spend up to seven years in federal prison.
Prosecutors claim she earned over $5.4 million from OnlyFans through subscriptions, pay-per-view content, and tips. Yet, she tried to duck out on taxes for her earnings. According to the docs, she filed a bogus tax return in 2019 and didn’t pay any tax from 2020 onward.
For the uninitiated, OnlyFans is a platform for content creators to make bank via memberships and posts subscribers pay for. The IRS and its team of detectives handled the investigation into Perez’s dealings, and Carl Gammons from the US Attorney’s office plans to bring the case to trial.
This isn’t a declaration of guilt, merely an indictment that shows the government suspects criminal activity. Until proven otherwise, everyone involved is presumed innocent.
