Alyssa Ann Zinger, 22, from Tampa, Florida, was arrested on November 24th, accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile male aged between 12 and 15, while posing as a 14-year-old girl. The charges include two felony counts of lewd or lascivious battery and five counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.
The Tampa Police Department and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office revealed that Zinger contacted the minor via Snapchat, initiating a sexual relationship. Authorities discovered her alleged actions through a search warrant, uncovering evidence of explicit content being shared.
Claiming to be a home-schooled student on social media, Zinger allegedly exploited her false identity to engage with minors. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and court records indicate she waived her right to an arraignment.
Released on the day of her arrest after paying $7,500 for each charge, Zinger faces a legal battle ahead. The investigation revealed disturbing details, with a witness reporting that she sent a video depicting sexual content to several children via Snapchat.
Victims believed Zinger was close to their age, highlighting the unsettling nature of the case. Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw urged any potential victims to come forward, ensuring support and preventing further harm from the accused predator. The charges reflect the seriousness of the allegations and the need for a thorough legal process to unfold.
