A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a recent high school graduate over the weekend between Los Patios and Pamplona, as revealed by some sources. It happened on the road known as ‘La Garita’, characterized by many turns, in which a young girl called Yisel Daniela Delgado Parra lost her life.
Yisel was a graduate of the Municipal Airport Technical College and was undertaking studies in esthetics at Cúcuta.
According to early reports, the girl was on a motorcycle ride with someone else when they made a turn and fell off in a hit. Both riders were involved in the accident, and onlookers immediately rushed to stop any vehicles and help until the ambulance arrived.
The victim was taken to the Los Patios hospital, but she passed away due to the injuries that were too severe to save her. As earlier reports suggest, the two riders might have switched places prior to the crash.
This has raised further concerns about the safety of motorcycle riders on the road from Cúcuta to Pamplona, as such accidents occur frequently on its winding sections.
One of the major problems experts see here is ensuring that the extracted microplastics are disposed of properly without creating pollution elsewhere. The other issue is scaling, because ferrofluid is expensive to produce on a large scale.
According to Heller, her device can operate on a small scale, such as under a kitchen sink. Heller is currently planning to have her findings professionally tested.
