Woman Says She Dated A Fake NFL Player For Nearly A Year: “I Never Got My Money Back”

Jules, a woman who dated a man for about a year, accuses him of inventing a completely false identity as a professional football player. In a TikTok video, she told her followers that the man used various photos, videos, podcasts, fundraisers, and other materials to create this false impression. Jules also said the man borrowed money from her but never returned it.

According to the woman, her ex-boyfriend is Uras Agee IV, a former Division II college safety who pretended to be a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Agee played for Shorter University and has no NFL history.

He has been publicly accused of creating false identities as members of different teams. These accusations brought some discussion on social media about male frauds that pretend to be professional athletes in order to scam women.

Jules begins her video by sharing details about their relationship and how she felt after learning the truth.

“Story time about how I was seeing a man for almost a whole year and he faked his entire identity,” she explains. “I can’t help but blame myself for falling for it. But let’s get into the story. I feel like a Nashville bird,” she explains.

Jules says she found out about the story spreading online while she was at work.

“So he claimed he was in the NFL. It’s actually going viral on World Star right now. Um, one of my girlfriends called me and was like, Julian, never gonna believe this. And I was at work and I was like, oh my god. Because there was another scandal that came out like two days ago about a different NFL player. NFL player that scammed a bunch of girls for money. So let’s get into the juicy details,” she said.

Jules mentioned that her boyfriend asked her to sign a confidentiality agreement at the very beginning of their relationship.

“Alright, so let’s talk about the NBA. I signed, um, it was a fake NBA,” Jules said. Saying I can’t talk about his business endeavors, clearly because he wasn’t actually in the NFL. Um. Oh yeah, I signed a fake NBA.”

According to Jules, everything looked normal in their relationship; however, when she asked questions, he answered with accusations toward her.

“We had fun together. Like, we would go golfing, we’d play basketball, we’d go to the gym, we’d go on dinner dates. Like a great time. But like, there was stuff that was weird that I always say, this is a little weird. And he’d be like, you are crazy. Like, maybe I am like being crazy. So it kind of just like manipulative. Very manipulative. Gaslighting me. And I was like, man, me. And then I talked to my girlfriends about it and they would Be like, you’re not crazy. But he always had an excuse for something. It, like, just always made sense,” she explained.

She also mentioned that even though he invited her to some games, she did not go to any.

“He invited me to a few games, but our schedules never lined up, so that didn’t work. I work full time. I actually work a lot. I work very hard for my money. Um, but our schedules never lined up, so I never was able to make it to a game during the season,” she said.

Jules also said she gave her boyfriend some money after he told her he needed it because his card was hacked.

“Second thing is, he did take money from me. I will blame myself. It was my fault. He said his card got hacked. It got scammed. He was out of money for the weekend, took out a lot of money out of his account. So I was like, I got you, boo. Like, I’ll front you for the weekend. No worries. You promise you’ll pay me back? He was like, I swear I would not pay you back,” she said.

According to her, the money was never returned, and they did not communicate anymore.

“Um, come to find out, he never paid me back. I never got my money back. We did not talk anymore. We haven’t talked for a while. Um, blocked on everything. But, yeah, I never got my. Got my cash back,” she said.

The woman says the supporting details contributed to her believing it, including the fact that he had some kind of family connection to professional football.

“He showed me photos, videos. He did podcasts, like, he did fundraisers. I’m pretty sure his dad was in the NFL, so I just assumed. He was like, I didn’t think someone would lie about that. Y’all can go ahead and make fun of me. I know, I know. But, yeah, I fell for it,” she said.

Jules said the experience changed her views on dating.

“That sums up my dating life right there to a T. I don’t pick many people. When I do give you my time of day, like, I focus in just on you. I know people don’t really date like that anymore, but that’s just how I am. I can’t really see multiple people at once, so that kind of messed me up. I did try to see someone after that, and it didn’t really go well, obviously, because I wasn’t ready for i,” she said.

“After that, I definitely have a type. And working with the public, I see a lot with, like, married men, like, people in relationships. So I don’t know, especially after that. Like, how am I supposed to trust another man again? Like, I don’t know. But we live, and we learn. I think my person is out there somewhere. Um, but we’ll see,” she said.

Trying to defend herself from the anticipated criticism, Jules says that she met his friends and family, and they confirmed the story about his NFL career.

“And just to justify myself, cause I know y’all are about to come at me in the comments, but I did meet friends, I did meet family. They talked about his career in the NFL, um, so I didn’t think twice about it. My parents, on the other hand, they’re like, Julia, you pick them good, you pick them good. And I’m like, I know, I know,” she said.
