Former Brazilian pastor Ana Akiva, once a participant in the country’s Miss BumBum competition, is making headlines as she embraces a more sensual path, temporarily prioritizing OnlyFans while asserting her strengthened connection with God.

The 36-year-old pastor from Fuxico Gospel church believes that creating sensual content doesn’t diminish her as a person or daughter of God, defending her decision to pause her pastoral role “out of respect for God.”

With a substantial Instagram following of 100,000, Akiva’s transition from modeling to a more revealing endeavor seems poised for acceptance. Having entered the religious realm in 2015, she emphasizes that her choices should not invite judgment, citing the biblical admonition, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

Akiva sheds light on her departure from pastoral duties, criticizing the church environment as “corrupt” and, in some cases, worse than the secular world. She contends that inconsistencies between preached ideals and actual behavior exist within the church, contributing to her decision to step away.

Reflecting on her six-year marriage to fellow clergy member Youssef Akiva, Akiva discloses struggles, alleging that her ex-husband controlled her life, forbidding her from working outside the home and having friends. She details emotional abuse, stating, “It’s difficult to be happy next to someone who controls your life and who never puts you up, who calls you rubbish, spits in your face.” Akiva believes her experience is shared by many women in the church who suffer in silence.

As she temporarily explores a more sensual avenue, Akiva remains firm in her conviction that her spiritual connection with God has only strengthened, presenting a unique perspective on the intersection of faith, personal choices, and societal expectations.
