Cardi B has officially confirmed her single status, ending the speculation surrounding her relationship with her husband Offset amid recent cheating allegations.
The Grammy-winning rapper addressed the situation during an Instagram Live session, revealing that she has been single for a while but was hesitant to share the news. The announcement follows rumors of a split after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Cardi expressed her desire for a fresh start in 2024, emphasizing her excitement for a new beginning. She alluded to dropping clues about her relationship status through her social media activities and music choices on Instagram Stories.
The 31-year-old rapper stated, “I wanna start 2024 afresh… open. I am curious for a new life, for a new beginning. Yeah, I am excited.”
The revelation came after Offset, Cardi’s husband, took to Twitter to deny allegations made by rapper Blueface, who claimed that Offset had slept with his ex Chrisean Rock a few weeks ago.
Blueface’s tweet suggested an intimate encounter between Offset and Chrisean Rock, prompting Offset to respond on Twitter, stating, “I ain’t never talk or touch that lady. Real talk man, you need some help!”
Cardi B and Offset, both prominent figures in the music industry, have faced their share of public scrutiny and drama throughout their relationship.
In December 2018, Cardi admitted to her fans that their entire relationship was “fake.” Offset had proposed to Cardi on stage in October 2017, even though they were legally married then.
