Brazilian authorities are chasing after the respondent in another country to catch a social media influencer/streamer who received a sentence because of a car crash that killed a personal trainer almost two years ago, and allegedly escaped to avoid serving her sentence.

Rosa Iberê Tavares Dantas was reportedly found guilty of negligent homicide in the incident, which occurred on August 31, 2023, in Manaus, when 31-year-old Talis Roque da Silva was struck by Dantas’s SUV after she ran through a junction. After hitting the victim, the motorcyclist was thrown and hit his head against a metal structure, suffering severe head injuries until he eventually died from heart arrest.

The Brazilian court gave Dantas three years in semi-open detention, during which she could go out during the daytime to work or study and return to prison in the evening, and imposed a fine and an 18-month driving prohibition.

According to the police, Dantas fled the country while her case was still under consideration and moved to Madrid, Spain. Now, her name is listed as one of the wanted persons in Brazil’s arrest order system, and Interpol has been informed of the situation.

Previously, Rosa Iberê Tavares Dantas amassed a large following online, with over 50,000 subscribers. The content she created included various posts about her interests in fitness, travel, fine dining, her enterprises, and personal life.
