After going viral on social media after posting photos of herself in uniform working a “normal” 9-5 job on Twitter, everybody’s favorite Home Depot girl is no longer with the company.
Ariana Cossie, also known as the viral ‘Home Depot girl,’ recently took to TikTok to reveal she had to quit her job after people started to leak her address and find out where she worked.

Cossie also took to Instagram to address the Home Depot one last time. “Last post about Home Depot since the world is illegally doxxing my location and job,” Cossie said. “Y’all turned something innocent into something crazy, and ruined my way of making money by seriously taking the internet TOO far.”
She adds: “Thanks for all the nice people I’ve spoken too and inspired and thanks to the hate because it’s helped me grow closer to God and be more tough skinned.”
What led to Ariana Cossie going viral?
Many Twitter users praised Ariana for her faith, fashion sense, and commitment to studying at the University of Houston while working at Home Depot. She was praised for not creating content on OnlyFans. In one of her tweets, Ariana mentioned earning the “right money” by working at the retail giant.
Some users interpreted Ariana’s posts as indirectly criticizing OnlyFans creators and adult entertainment workers, claiming that not all money is “good money.” These remarks sparked a discussion on social media about the societal expectations and standards placed on women deemed “pretty.”
Ariana’s viral fame arose from the negative responses she received, as well as her subsequent responses, which fueled the debate even further. While receiving mixed reactions for her post, she did receive kind words from multiple celebrities.
The NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal allegedly sent her a direct message (DM). However, the DM’s nature was not as many people assumed. This led many to misinterpret Shaq’s intentions, believing he was attempting to pursue a romantic relationship with Ariana.
The Home Depot Girl, Ariana Cossie, posted a screenshot of Shaq’s direct message on her Instagram story. The message from the 51-year-old basketball legend advised her not to be bothered by negative comments and to avoid getting too caught up in other people’s viewpoints. He made a witty remark about saying hello to her boyfriends.
