Hulu has secured the rights to “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” a four-part docu-series that will provide an unprecedented, all-access look at the iconic rock band’s four-decade career. The series, produced by ROS and directed by filmmaker Gotham Chopra, will premiere on Hulu in the United States on April 26th, with international releases on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in other territories.
The documentary, a rare collaboration involving past and present Bon Jovi members, promises an intimate look at the band’s life and legacy. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi opens up in unexpected ways, sharing vulnerable moments and giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the highs and lows of his extraordinary career.
“Thank You, Goodnight” delves into the heart of Bon Jovi’s career, from Jersey Shore clubs to international stages. The series contains a wealth of personal videos, unreleased demos, original lyrics, and never-before-seen photographs. The film, directed and executive produced by multiple Emmy® Award winner Gotham Chopra, known for his work on projects such as “Kobe Bryant’s Muse” and “Man in the Arena,” is a collaboration with executive producers Giselle Parets and Ameeth Sankaran for ROS. Notably, Alex Trudeau Viriato serves as both producer and editor, playing an important creative role in shaping the series.
