A landlord in Israel is requesting the complete rent payment and a replacement tenant following the possible abduction of one of his renters by Hamas.

According to an article posted by Walla! News, Inbar Hyman’s roommate claimed that their landlord wants Inbar to pay her half of the rent, or else they will remove her belongings from their apartment.

Hyman, along with 3,500 other people, attended an all-night rave situated between two kibbutzes, Be’eri to the north and Re’im to the south.

The event, which occurred less than four miles from Gaza, was targeted last Saturday morning.

Soldiers from Hamas arrived at the festival and tragically killed 260 individuals, while also seizing numerous others as hostages. Hyman is now one of the 150 Israeli hostages forcibly brought to the Gaza Strip.

The roommate, who has decided to stay unidentified, stated that he received a message on Tuesday from his landlord, requesting payment for the remaining rent.

The roommate’s father informed Walla! that they had told him she was kidnapped and he had demanded the money, noting that the landlord showed no interest in Hyman’s situation.

According to the report, Hyman, a 27-year-old student studying visual communication, is in her final year of school.

The report states that the owner of the apartment has threatened to remove her belongings and find another tenant for the room.
