India Love Says Rich Men Who Don’t Spend Are a Hard Pass

Social media influencer India Love sparked a debate when she talked about wealthy men spending on their partners. The 30-year-old model got everybody talking after defining a key difference between wealthy men and those who love to splurge.

“You could be rich and not like to spend that,” she pointed out. “There’s a lot of rich men that don’t like to spend. They like to be frugal and keep the money to themselves. I want someone who’s going to spend.

Tons of responses flooded in, dividing into critics and defenders. Critics accused Love of promoting gold-digging. One skeptic even pointed out that most guys, once they hit their mid-20s, care less about looks and more about a person’s true self.

“Liking what you see is only skin deep, man,” the commenter joked, but there was some truth to it. Others took a more serious tone, expressing worry about role models for the youth.

Then there were those supporting Love’s viewpoint, saying that successful women have a right to expect their guy to be generous, too.
