Issa Rae Talks About Her First Show Pitch

Issa Rae was nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the 2020 Emmys.

While being introduced by Zendaya tonight at the Emmys. Issa spoke on the first time she pitched a show to a executive.

Issa Rae telling her first Hollywood pitch story after doing a whole web series and knowing Lena Dunham had a one page pitch for Girls and was greenlit is ridiculous.

This is another example of what black people have to do deal with in Hollywood.
