Black Women doing Black Excellence things all 2019 into the rest of eternity. The 2019 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is upon us and the presenters for this prestigious ceremony have finally been revealed. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will keep their tradition going by having great artist inducting these legends. The Root, reported earlier today that Janelle Monae is set up to induct the Legendary Janet Jackson into the Hall of Fame. Janet was eligible to be inducted to the Rock & Roll of fame in 2007. So this is a long time coming, Janet should have been in the Hall of Fame in 2007 but that’s none of our business. Each of the inductees for this year’s class is being recognized for contributing to music for more than 25 years. Along with her new hall of fame status, Janet is showing no signs of slowing down. Just last month she announced her Las Vegas residency “Metamorphosis.” The shows are scheduled to kick off in May with 14 additional shows spanning across July and August. Other presenters for this year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony include, Harry Styles for Stevie Nicks, Brian May of Queen for Def Leppard, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor for the Cure, David Byrne for Radiohead, Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles for the Zombies and, John Taylor and Simon Le Bon for Roxy Music. HBO will exclusively debut the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday April 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET /PT. The ceremony will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand, as well as the network’s partnering streaming platforms.
