JOHN BOYEGA TO STAR SCI-FI ‘THEY CLONED TYRONE’

John Boyega to star in Netflix’s They Cloned Tyrone The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Star Wars actor John Boyega has signed on for the leading role in the Netflix original film They Cloned Tyrone. Earlier this year, it was reported that Emmy nominee Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) was previously in negotiations to star in the film. This will be one of Boyega first roles back in the acting driving seat post Star Wars franchise. His slate is already pretty stacked as he’s starring Steve McQueen’s BBC series Small Axe, Naked Singularity – about a successful New York public defender whose life starts to unravel after he loses his first case and Hold Back the Stars, another sci-fi this time a romance which is based on the novel of the same name by Katie Khan.
