Kanye talks bipolar disorder in a new clip from his David Letterman interview

West paints a comparison between bipolar disorder and a sprained ankle, but says that unlike a sprained ankle, “once our brain gets to a point of spraining, people do everything to make it worse.”

“If you don’t take medication every day to keep you at a certain state, you have a potential to ramp up and it can take you to a point where you can even end up in the hospital,” – Kanye West gets really deep about his struggles with mental health.

Kanye West also defends Trump supporters to Letterman:

“We have the right to feel what we feel. Treated like enemies of America because that’s what they felt. Have you ever been beat up in your high school for wearing the wrong hat? Liberals bully people who are Trump supporters!”

Kanye West speaks on Drake during his David Letterman interview:

“He has this line that i love that says, ‘i told my story and made history’—like made *his* story and made history. that’s what we do”
