Karol G announces new album ‘No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto’

The Colombian reggaeton artist Karol G announced her upcoming album titled “No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto” during her concert Wednesday night at Rogers Stadium. She became the first solo female artist to headline that Toronto venue. The album is scheduled to drop at midnight EDT on Friday, August 7th.

The artist surprised her fans by revealing the name and release date of her new album before the cover art was shown on the stadium screens. The artist also uploaded the artwork on Instagram the same day.

“It’s an album I can’t wait to sing with all of you,” Karol G stated, Billboard reported.

This will be the artist’s sixth studio album and her first since “Tropicoqueta,” which was released in 2025, CNN en Español reports.

Karol G has been hinting about her upcoming album. She dropped the single “Matadora” on July 24 at Soldier Field in Chicago, the first night of her current tour, Billboard reports. The track listing for the album has not been released yet.

The announcement took place on the third night of the Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, which kicked off in Chicago and is scheduled to last until July 2027, with stops in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe, CNN en Español reports. The tour’s next performances will include both songs from “Tropicoqueta” and new material from her upcoming album.

“Tropicoqueta” marked Karol G’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and provided the largest U.S. streaming week for a Latin album by a woman.

Her previous tour, the Mañana Será Bonito Tour, sold more than 2.3 million tickets in 62 shows and earned over $300 million, ending with four nights at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Live Nation states.
