“LeBron James Sucks” Chants Breakout at Trump Rally

During a campaign rally in Avoca, Pennsylvania, President Trump discussed the reported low ratings of the recent NBA Championship, saying, “When they [NBA players] don’t respect our country, when they don’t respect our flag, nobody wants to watch … and the NFL is way down. You gotta stand for our flag … and if you don’t do that we aren’t watching.”

Trump is actively trying to cut the United States’ Department of Education’s budget by $5.6 billion dollars. LeBron James himself has pledged $42 million dollars to provide scholarships to eleven hundred underserved students. James opened the I Promise School with a mission to wrap around the most at risk students and families in Akron.

LeBron James built transitional housing for struggling families in Ohio next to his “I Promise” school. Trump was sued by the DOJ twice for discriminatory housing practices.

Many people choked in on social media about “LeBron James sucks” chants.
