Alannah Keyser, the contestant who was brought to Love Island USA Season 8 amid Casa Amor’s twist, is now dealing with online criticism following the emergence of videos showing her using a racial slur.
A 10-second video posted online is drawn from Keyser’s alleged Snapchat post about a night out in Miami. The caption suggests that Keyser used the N-word while dancing inside a car in the dark. The video is blurred and shows the contestant mouthing song lyrics in a party environment where the racial slur is evident. The video is unverified independently.
The allegations escalated further after an X user (@fentywhoree) posted a screenshot of an alleged TikTok comment, purportedly by Keyser, dating back 98 weeks. According to the comment screenshot, Keyser allegedly uses a racial slur in a way as a pun for the word “Nigerian.”
The critics relate the allegations against Keyser to her conduct during Casa Amor, where she was alleged to have distanced herself from black male contestants in the house.
Fans observed that she refused to have physical contact with KC, Corbin, and Sincere while getting closer to other contestants.
As one fan put it, “Okay, that Alanna girl is DEFINITELY racist because she was making out with Caleb, Bryce, and Zach, but KC, Corbin, and Sincere only get a twerk from a distance? and then she got mad when KC touched her.”
Another fan pointed out her conduct during the challenge as well: “I knew something was up from how she moved in that challenge. ‘That’s all you get. ‘Hand off, boy.'”
