‘Love Island USA’ Season 8 Winners: Trinity Tatum and Bryce Detloff Take Home $100K

Trinity Tatum and Bryce Detloff were the ones selected by America as the winners of the eighth season of “Love Island USA,” earning them the $100,000 cash prize from Peacock.

According to Peacock, Tatum and Detloff became a couple right from the start of the season and grew closer over six weeks, with their relationship strengthening with each passing week.

A “Love Island USA” reunion special will be aired on Monday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. It will be hosted by Emmy-nominated host Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen (host of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”). This special will see the winners, fan-favorite couples, and this season’s bombshells returning for an encore of their summer in the Villa.

The renewal of “Love Island: Beyond the Villa” for its third season was also announced, with its premiere slated for 2027. The casting process is yet to be announced.

“Love Island USA” had been one of the most popular streaming shows this summer, holding the No. 1 spot in streaming reality for five straight weeks, according to Peacock. Nearly 30% of viewers for the season were new to the “Love Island” franchise, and the show also pulled one of Peacock’s largest mobile audiences for an entertainment program, with nearly 30% of views on mobile.

During this season of “Love Island USA,” there have been more than 4 billion video views on social media, and the show is the No. 1 social program since its launch, according to Sprout Social Content Rankings.

It also had record advertiser participation with seven integrated partners, nine custom content partners, and more than 1,000 media partners participating in the conversation. Advertisers achieved significant double-digit gains in metrics such as ad memorability, online engagement, and sales lift.
