After a janitor tainted her water bottles at work, a married mother of two daughters contracted an incurable sexually transmitted disease.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 50-year-old man named Lucio Diaz for indecent assault and aggravated assault with a lethal weapon. A 54-year-old patient, who declined to be identified, told ABC13: “This particular person is sick.”
During her shift at the East Freeway physician’s office, she noticed a foul odor coming from the worker’s water dispenser. She vowed to drink only from water bottles that she dropped at work from then on. Based on court records, a urinalysis confirmed the allegations. Despite this, the spy digicam she purchased left no doubts, she said. Only a still picture from the video was shared, but ABC13 was able to see it in its entirety.
The woman explained, “He pulls out his penis and puts it in my bottle. He basically rinses his penis in the water.” The mother of two daughters learned devastating news after getting additional testing done on herself. “I learned I contracted (a sexually-transmitted illness), which he also tested positive for,” she said.
Data from the courtroom show that Diaz is in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody. The Mexican national’s immigration status and employment status are unclear. The sufferer said Diaz worked on the building after the administration was notified. She is working with Kim Spurlock as her attorney.
Spurlock said, “They have a responsibility to protect their tenants, and they failed to do so.”
CEO Terry Quinn issued a press release on behalf of the building’s owner, Altera Fund Advisors:
“Our administration firm instantly cooperated with the police division on this matter as quickly as we have been made conscious of this potential challenge by our tenant. They have been suggested by the police to not alert or method the alleged perpetrator in order that he could possibly be arrested. He was arrested when he returned to the constructing.”
It is suspected that more people have been contaminated, and Diaz could face additional charges, according to HPD’s Main Offender Division.
