It has been confirmed that Netflix has commissioned the production of its upcoming Korean romance-comedy, Fall in! Love, starring Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young in a reverse office romance.
In this drama, Jung-seok, CEO of an outdoor camping brand, is caught off guard when his former military superior and current actor who uses the nickname ‘Viper’ joins him at work as a rookie. He is surprised because his former boss was not only an excellent soldier but also his former superior in the military. However, things changed when Jung-seok built himself up as a self-made man after leaving the army to become the CEO of a corporation.
Park Hyung-sik, known for roles in Strong Girl Bong-soon, Suits, Happiness, and Doctor Slump, stars as Jung-seok. Park Gyu-young, known for acting in shows like Sweet Home, Celebrity, Squid Game, and A Good Day to Be a Dog, plays A-mi, the special forces officer-turned-rookie employee.
Nam Seong-woo, director of My Lovely Liar and My Roommate Is a Gumiho, directs this drama. Kim Ha-na, screenwriter of My Secret Romance and Heartbeat, writes the screenplay for Fall in! Love.
The new Netflix original Korean drama series will premiere on the streaming platform, though the exact release date has not yet been announced.
