Zack Snyder is making his case as director of the year after the success of the Snyder Cut version of Justice League, 2004 remake of the ‘Army of the Dead,’ and now ‘Army of the Thieves’ that recently hit the Netflix platform. The third installment of the ‘Army of the Dead’ franchise will be named ‘Planet of the Dead.’
A spoiler is coming in the next paragraph so if you haven’t watched the new Zack Snyder films, it would be a good decision to stop reading the article now if you care.
Since Vanderohe got on a plane infected by the virus we can only guess that’s why it will lead to the entire planet getting infected by the virus since it’s no longer contained in Nevada.
Which will lead to an epic Zack Snyder third installment. In the first film you see Ludwig Dieter get out of the vault he broke into to get the money but luckily for him they bombed the city which should have wiped out the zombies completely if not most of them. Which means he will most likely appear in the third installment.
In ‘Army of the Thieves’ they showed how Ludwig Dieter got into stealing and breaking into bank vaults. They also showed his love interest Gwendoline who is played by Nathalie Emmanuel. Gwendoline actually recruits Ludwig into her army of thieves and from there we get to observe the sweet science of Ludwig genius.
At the end of the film, Gwendoline and Ludwig gets caught and she makes a deal with the police that if they bring her in they have to let him go. Which is what happened and then at the end of the film they showed him how he got with the ‘Army of the Dead’ squad.
This makes me believe the two will reunite in Zack Snyder’s third installment. Which is most likely going to be the most epic one out of the three. We have reached out to Zack Snyder’s reps and Netflix to confirm my theories. We will keep you updated.
