Peacock will exclusively release Focus Features’ horror movie, titled Obsession, on July 17th.
Director Curry Barker’s movie is Certified Fresh and Verified Hot according to Rotten Tomatoes. The cast includes Michael Johnston, Inde Navarrette, Cooper Tomlinson, Megan Lawless, and Andy Richter.
Two months after its theatrical run, the independent horror film remains in the spotlight after it just surpassed the $400 million mark at the worldwide box office.
It revolves around an optimistic romantic who tries the sinister “One Wish Willow” to win his love interest, only to realize there is always a price to pay when you get your wish.
Obsession was written and directed by Barker. It was produced by James Harris, Haley Nicole Johnson, Christian Mercuri, and Roman Viaris, while executive produced by Jason Blum, Leonora Darby, Mark Lane, David Haring, and Ruzanna Kegeyan. The running time is 108 minutes.
