Olivia Rodrigo Set To Drop New Single “vampire” June 30th

Olivia Rodrigo, the GRAMMY®-winning, multi-Platinum recording artist, announced today that her new single “vampire” will be released on June 30th.

The former Disney star made the announcement on social media. Rodrigo’s Instagram post has received over 40,000 comments (see below).

The 20-year-old singer-songwriter wrote the song with producer Daniel Nigro, who also worked with her on Rodrigo’s debut studio album, SOUR. “vampire,” the first new music from the record-breaking young artist since the May 2021 release of SOUR, is the sound of an artist firmly in control, imbued with a sense of maturity and bold confidence.

Rodrigo continues to write with unflinching honesty, which has won her fans over since the release of her breakthrough single “drivers license” in January 2021. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to become the first song in history to receive 80 million Spotify streams in seven days.

Now certified 5x Platinum in the U.S., “drivers license” also resonated on a global level, topping the charts in numerous countries. The triple Platinum “deja vu” and 4x Platinum, Billboard Hot 100-topping “good 4 u” followed in the leadup to the release of her first full-album.
